Eric and I are not ashamed. We love the Olympics, both summer and winter. We love pretending we have interest in the sports throughout the year, when really we don't have any idea what skeleton is or why people want to jump up in the air and land on one skate. It could be because we only have 5 channels, not including Telemundo. The channel of choice tends to always be NBC, even though we both find Letterman funnier. And we do change to ABC for Modern Family. Back in our first apartment in Georgia, we chose to not have cable, and since then we have never had cable unless it was never turned off at said apartment and thus free, or at our parents. We are horrible TV watchers, unable to carry on a coherent conversation during a show. We should probably decide to not have TVs in the house, but come one, those riveting Olympic Nordic events...
This is my battle right now. Graham's tubes are costing us more money than initially paid. It seems our insurance pays 100% of the first procedure, which is one ear, and 50% of the second (the other ear). Had we known this payment agreement, we would have gone with 2 separate procedures. Aetna and the surgicenter have a contract where payment is agreed upon for standard procedures. When I prepaid our 20% responsibility, did they not already know what Aetna was going to pay? And why does Aetna not cover the full 80%? They know how much the surgicenter charges. It's a conspiracy. I'll let you know how it goes after I talk with the director.
Graham has cut 2 molars, but no new ones up front. He has acquired this new smile, which is cheesy and adorable all rolled up in one.
